Where am I? Can anyone see me?
Do you hear me or am I just an echo in my own silence?
Sometimes, the loudest cries are the ones buried deepest inside us. We convince ourselves to stay quiet, to keep pushing, to not “bother” anyone. We fear judgment. We fear rejection. So we try again and again until we break.
But here’s the truth: It’s okay to ask for help.
In fact, it's courageous.
Asking for help isn’t weakness; it’s strength wrapped in vulnerability. It’s the human thing to do. None of us was made to carry everything alone. We grow stronger in community, in connection, in knowing someone is walking beside us.
Yes, give your best. Show up for yourself. However, also know that reaching out does not diminish your worth; it deepens it.
Help can come in many forms: a listening ear, a shared burden, a small reminder that you’re not alone. And just as you may one day ask, another day you may be the one who gives. Helping others doesn’t make you more powerful; it makes you more human.
So speak. Reach. Offer. Receive.
Because healing lives in the space between one heart and another.
You don’t have to go through it alone.
